Kemunculannya yang seolah sangat mendadak di majalah FHM menjadi sebuah kejutan. Wajar saja, Chantal selama ini erat dengan kesan presenter berita yang santun, formal, dan tertib. Kemunculannya dengan busana yang super seksi di FHM membuat banyak pihak terkejut, dan sejak itulah Chantal aktif muncul di majalah-majalah dewasa Indonesia sebagai model seksi. Wajar jika di tahun 2012 FHM Indonesia menempatkannya sebagai wanita terseksi kedua, tepat di bawah penyanyi internasional Katy Perry.
